It’s that time of the year again, where billions of people around the country will be sitting across their computer screens with a hawks eyes in search for the best e-commerce deal they would ever come across. Flipkart’s The Big Billion Days Sale has not yet kicked off, but the e-commerce site has already revealed some of its offers targeted to persuade smartphone buyers in India. The sale will begin from the 10th of October till the 14th of October 2018.
The Big Billion Days, we shall see many flagship phones go on sale. This will not only include recent launches, but launches from the first half of 2018, as well as popular phone titles from last year. The e-commerce platform has listed new offers on smartphones that range from Asus Zenfone 5Z to Honor 10, and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 to Samsung Galaxy S8.
Some of the offers on budget smartphones that the Flipkart Big Billion Sale has revealed so far include the Realme C1 which will be sold at Rs. 6,999 (MRP Rs. 8,990). The Infinix Smart2 will be available at Rs. 4,999 (MRP Rs. 6,999) and the Panasonic P91 will be available at a low price of Rs. 2,999 (MRP Rs. 7,990). The Oppo A71 New Edition will be sold at Rs. 6,990 (MRP Rs. 10,990) while the Honor 7S will retail at Rs. 6,499 (MRP Rs. 8,999). HDFC Bank card users will be able to grab another 10 percent instant discount. Flipkart will also offer no-cost EMI options, exchange offers, and other bundled offers during the sale, bringing the effective prices even lower.
In addition, Samsung Galaxy S8 will be available for EMI offers, as well as No Cost EMI deals across major banks, starting from Rs 5,110 per month. While the phone’s offer price remains unchanged, further deals could be announced at the time of sale. With a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ display, Galaxy S8 runs the Exynos 8895 processor backed by a 3000mAh battery, besides having a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front sensor. The Samsung phone is available with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage as well as expandable memory of up to 256GB.
Among other models, the Nokia 5.1 Plus that was launched at Rs. 10,999 earlier this month will be available during the Flipkart sale at Rs. 10,499. The Nokia 6.1 Plus, on the other hand, is available at Rs. 14,999, Rs. 1,000 lower than the original launch price of Rs. 15,999. A dedicated microsite has revealed that the Flipkart sale will bring the Vivo V9 Youth at Rs. 13,990. The handset was launched at Rs. 18,990 back in April, though its priced dropped to Rs. 16,990 in July. The Oppo F9 that was launched at Rs. 23,990 will be available with an additional exchange discount of Rs. 3,000. Furthermore, the Oppo F9 that was launched at Rs. 19,990 comes with an additional exchange discount of Rs. 4,000.
Aside from revealing the offers on smartphones during the Big Billion Days sale, Flipkart on Sunday tied up with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance to offer insurance on mobile devices bought through its online marketplace starting October 10. The Bengaluru-headquartered company has secured a corporate agent licence from Bajaj Allianz to offer the new model.
